Hide Situation

How to create hide situation using AM2DHIDE command in AutoCAD 2013? This command was exist in AutoCAD Mechanical 2009. But when i tried to edit this command in AutoCAD 2013, it displyed as unkinown command? plse help.

Hi,
it's a "Mechanical" command, not an AutoCAD command. So if you don't have AutoCAD Mechanical 2013 you don't have that command built in.
I don't know what this function is doing as I never worked with Mech, maybe any of the Mech-people knows that and maybe there is a command in plain AutoCAD 2013 that does anything similar.

Its been useful to hide invisible edges of the 2D object using ACADMech2009. Object in background is invisible, only the non overlapping of part of background object is visible. for details see attach, in which switch is front object and DIN rail is background object.

Work around with WIPEOUT is what plain Autocad can do.
