I have one particular USB drive that refuses to allow DWF publish overwrites, and I'm at a loss as to why. The message that appears onscreen is shown below:
But the file isn't open anywhere else... AutoCAD is the only open program at the time. If I try to output this same DWF to another drive where the file also exists I get the msg asking if i want to overwrite it... and life moves on.
Anyone have an idea of what I might have to change on this rogue drive to get it to behave properly?

Can you save the dwf file in a different location and then copy and paste it in your USB drive?
I got a response from the drive manufacturer that said the error I was seeing was symtomatic of either a corrupted file or corruption on the drive. Their suggestion was to reformat the drive and try again.
So I did that. Problem solved. The drive now perfoms normally.
