For me, AutoCAD kept going to the same wrong folder that was listed in the Places list.  I deleted that entry from the list and it stopped going there, instead going to the last place I'd been.  For me, that behavior was what I considered normal.  I was able to add the deleted location back to the Places list and it didn't break it again.  Everything has been fine since.

So I guess I solved my own problem, but a poster can't accept their own post as a solution.  Hope that helps.

Unfortunately you can't use the Places list without this issue coming back.  Places list is a great help and greatly increases efficiency :smileysad:

I am having the same issues.  I use the places list constanly and do not want to delete it.  I would like a resolution to the last save remeberance thing in my file dialog box as well.  In previous versions any save you did it would save to the folder and leave it there.  Whether it was a quick save or a save/close.  Now it's almost like REMEMBERFOLDERS does not work anymore at all.  If ANYONE out there has a solution to this problem without removing the Places list I would be so excited to know the answer.  Please HELP!!

Deleting an item in a places list does work.  If it doesn't work the first time, delete the next wrong place until it does work.  This problem occurs in acad 2013 and 2014.  I'm using win7 64bit, in case that makes any difference.  This solution is better than getting grumpy, even if it needs to be fixed again.

Before this fix, I would launch several copies of win explorer.  Each one would point to a folder for a project of interest.  That way it is easier to jump from one project to another, each time there is an interruption.
