FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0020 Exception at b0ba4c12h
Ive looked around the forums and cant seem to find a solution. I was running AutoCad on Windows 8 just fine before...
What are my options??
Thank you.
'Remove 8.1' seems to be the current solution for most: it does more than just add a start button.
Autodes Twitter Support seems to think removing all .NET and reinstalling only what AutoCAD needs is an option: worth a try if you have no deadlines due this morning.

My autocad mech 2014 (with SP1) works just fine/great with the new Win 8.1P.
With that kind of error message (on previous 8.0), the way i solve it is.... go to the "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\AutoCAD Mechanical 2014 - English" folder and then run the "Reset Settings to Default - AutoCAD Mechanical" shortcut (your path/filename may slightly differ if it's not the Mech version). good luck...
did you install SP1? I had no problems running AC2014 on my notebook with new win 8.1. I installed it with automatic download of SP1 in the install options.
