I have PDSU 2013 running on an M6600 Precision Mobile WS. In AutoCAD 2013, saving drawing files locally or to the networks results in AutoCAD "(Not Responding)". Any ideas? Anyone else had this issue?
I would look to the taskmanager what application/exe/... uses the processor/kernel-performance. Is it AutoCAD or may be it's your antivirus-software? (or what processes are quite active while AutoCAD does not respond)

and what are the second and third topmost cpu-consuming processes?
And a funny idea: try to _SAVEAS and use DXF as save-format ... same issue?

Hard to tell since it is dynamic, but Antivirus, Taskmanager, and SearchFilterHost.exe are right up there. Doing a Saveas..., DXF, seemed to perform quickly. Thereafter, QSaves seem faster.

That makes me thinking that you have a antivirus software (or a similar defending piece of program) that is scanning DWG-files when you create one. Turn them off for a test-period and report.
