AutoCAD 2013/2014 DWG Format

10 days from launching and most of the post in 2013 group are about bugs !!!

Indeed Autodesk have a problem with 13.

AutoCAD 13 = Apollo 13 with one difference: Apollo 13 landed, AutoCAD 2013 will not.

AutoCAD 2013 will also land

Houston got Apollo13 back in 6 days.... it will likely be closer to 6 months before Autodesk will release a SP....  (September for 2011 & 2012 if I recall correctly)

This is a problem/bug forum, what else did you expect to read here?

For those of us that went to AU '97... I remember AU'97 when they apologized for R13 and called it their "white elephant" product....and where Lynn Allen says "I realized with release 13 that CAD actually stood for 'Control+Alt+Delte'."

Maybe this year at AU, they'll apologize for 2013

I haven't had quite as many issues with the software, but then I always take it back to AutoCAD classic look/feel.  Overall, I feel the release is underwhelming at best.  They have truly pushed the current code base as far as they can, and have only bells/whistles to encourage new sales, and frustrate the subscription members and long time users.  I have no plans to upgrade from 2012 at this point, and will probably pass until either forced to (incoming drawings from outside), or if we end up with Windows 8.

 I don’t recall was R13 as unlucky as 2013?

Maybe they should have done 2011, 2012, 2014.

I wonder how many programmers and/or staff worked on it? 13?

This coming Friday is the 13th maybe we should all stay a safe distance from our computers that have 2013 on them?

If they come out with a patch this Friday I know I will not be downloading it!
