In every drawing, even a new empty one?
Or does it vary depending on the drawing size and complexity?

Are you zooming with your mouse wheel or with commands like Zoom Window and Zoom Previous?

IF the latter, check the settings in the command VTOPTIONS.

I don't know if this will work or not, but I ran into a lot of problems when I put my laptop in "Power Saver" mode for the battery option. Once I switched to "high performance," at lot of my display problems had gone away.
