sample.cus file is not working

my AutoCAD 2014 dictionary is marking most of the text in a drawing as spelled wrong.

any ideas on what may cause this to happen?

how can i fix this and have my 75 users also fix the file on thier pc's?

Delete the CUS file and replace it with a new one (it's just s TXT file with the extension renamed, you can use Windows Notepad to populate it (one word per line) with anything you want.

Just found your workaround but it seems to not work on my end. When I am setting the DCTCUST system variable to point to a text file with .cus as extension and containing a list of words separated by newlines nothing is displayed in the Dictionary window (where the list of words normally gets displayed).

 

Any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong? The same file is imported fine to an existing working .cus file.
