putting lines on the same plane

I have a problem with my autocad file.... after importing another drawing into my existing drawing, i noticed that my drawings/lines are all not on the same plane... i have tried using the "flatten tool" but to no avail Smiley Sad

any ideas as to how i can resolve this?!?!

Rotate the UCS and see if your "lines" are actually 3D objects or 3DPlines: use LIST command to verify object types.
You can also use PROPERTIES command to identify the objects AND place them on whatever plane you want.
