plotstylestable in MText

I'm using MText with fields to create a plotstamp within my titleblock. the titleblock is then inserted into a drawing and all fields update with changes(filename/plotdate/username) except for "plotstyles". unless I use blockeditor this field does not update with the change of pentables, which would be helpful when looking at drawings that aren't plotting properly. any and all help is greatly appreciated.thanks.

You probably need a unique field in the top file for that. Try it.

If by "top file" you mean the dwg file the border is inserted into, then this is not an option.

I'm trying to make this as simple for my operators as possible.

I created a block with a plotstamp look but have to explode it for the plotstyletable to update.

The field used is -

Field Catagory: Plot

Field Names: PlotStyleTable

Format: None

Field Expression: %<\AcVar PlotStyleTable>%
