how to prevent previous commands from popping up above command line

I do not not want previous commands to pop up above the command line.  They fade away after a couple second or so but I do not want them at all. How do I turn off this feature?

Thanks

Pick on the wrench symbol there at the command line to the left, pick lines prompt history, set to 0.

Hi,

Pick on the wrench icon to left and click on "Input Search Options" and make your choise (autocorrect off).

You can also dock your command line.

It you stretch the command line so that it's more than one line tall. That will also prevent that.
