disable 360 menu

How do I disable the 360 menu?

I actually purchased this software for work, not to tweet or facebook.

Before you do that, just be aware that you may end up having to re-install 2014 (&13) due to a bug in the installer/uninstaller

*edit*  the link above only applies to AutoCAD, I do not know about what dependencies inventor has with 360

To risky, I've been seeing some bad uninstalls with this release, meaning that I'd have to reformat my pc to remove the 360 spam bar.

If you just want to remove 360 from Ribbon:

You can also disable synchronization in Options.

I removed adsync/360 from R2014 to solve a nagging app crash whenever I closed AutoCAD (a hunch) and there are no issues with R2014 or any of the other modules. It runs great.
Anyone stating otherwise is just blowing smoke.
I went through Windows Control Panel to remove it.

Yes!

Uninstall from the control panel got rid of that crap with no problems, I guess the problems I heard about were from using the uninstall utillity.

Thanks!

I was having the 'cannot write to internet cache' message.  Suspecting 360 as a possible cause I just used MSCONFIG and unchecked 360 from the startup menu.

This way I didn't uninstall anything and if I ever need it, then it is still there.

For those not familiar here is how (This is for Windows 7)

Close out of all programs as you will be restarting your computer (though you can delay the restart).

Click your start button and in the search bar at the bottom of the menu type in MSCONFIG.  It will find only one program msconfig.exe.  Click on that and and then click on the startup tab at the top of the dialog window.  Scroll down until you find Autodesk 360 and uncheck it.  Click ok and then select restart now from the menu that appears.

After I restarted and loaded Autocad the 'cannot write to internet cache' message disappeared.
