can I permanently disable ANNOAUTOSCALE?

Hello,

Does anyone know if I can permanently disable ANNOAUTOSCALE in AutoCAD 2014?

Thank you

Michael

Set it to zero (aka turn it off) in your ACADDOC.LSP file is the better approach, that will ensure it always stays set like that as you open new files.
Is it somehow changing 'by itself'? or are you trying to achieve something not yet explained?

I apparently am unable to train an engineer how to keep it turned off. Therefore I am trying to make it idiot proof.

How are they turning it on (assuming they would just turn it on if you turned it off, right?), and why do they think they need to do it?

My first reply has a way for you to turn it off at every file open: anything you can remove they can add if they wanted to though.

Thank you. Agreed, I have it set to zero in the templates and in the Accaddoc.lsp. I am unsure as to why this person is turning it on "accidentally". Usually that means something else is going on or that they don't fully understand how the tool functions. I will apply a little more training and patience.

Thanks again
Michael
