Wipeout won't wipeout model space

My wipeout is in paper space. I'm trying to wipeout some text in paper space. Everything that is in paper space under the wipeout will disappear as it should but, everything in model space still shows through. It will plot correctly but i need to be able to see what all i have masked while working in the drawing. It is like it won't display the wipeout properly.

Thanks for your help.

My approach to this is to put WIPEOUTs on a separate layer so that I can have a diff color for the frame of the wipeout. Then you can place the wipeout and if you use the middle-button pan if you try to pan a bit it will show what is under the wipeout while you are holding the pan button. A work-around I guess, unless others have tried it differently.

FWIW

PS: Don't forget to turn off the wipeout frames at plot time. Of course you knew that but thought I would mention it.
