Hello All,
I've started looking at getting my group updated to ACAD 2014.
Will Autodesk continue to issue Service Packs?
I see all the hotfixes but have never gone that route and have always just installed the Service Packs.
As a general rule we've never updated our users to a newer version of ACAD until the SP1 was out.
Just curious what others policies are for keeping their ACAD up to date.
If you got time to share, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Steve

There is no gaurantee there will be SP's, but historically, SP1 is typically released in around September. I think it's a good strategy to wait a couple of weeks after SP1 is released to make a full production transition.
Service packs and Hotfixes are not mutually exclusive. I would generally apply Hotfixes as soon as they are available iif they address an issue that you've had difficulty with.
I wish when there is a HOTFIX available, you would receive a notification instead of having to visit the Autodesk site often.
A HOTFIX is really an update.
