HI, IT MAY JUST BE ME BUT I AM HAVING TROUBLE CREATING A VIEWPORT IN PAPER SPACE, WHEN USING ACLT 2015, I CAN CREATE A VIEW PORT FROM THE RIBBON AT THE TOP BUT WHEN I GO INTO MY CREATED LAYOUT IN PAPER SPACE THE RIBBON IS "INVISIBLE" IT WONT LET ME SELECT A VIEWPORT, CURRENTLY HAVING TO TYPE VIEWPORT INTO THE COMMAND, PLEASE CAN ANYBODY HELP ON THIS SUBJECT

I don't follow, sorry: which tab and which panel and which command on the Ribbon are you selecting to create a viewport? and it disappears when?

VIEWPORTS command calls modelspace viewport creation tool, MVIEW command is used for paperspace viewport creation, in LT2015 and lower versions. So which is it you need?

And are you sure all your layers are thawed/on and unlocked? perhaps your vanishing viewport outline is on a layer that is not set to be visible.
