Would like to put a gray (or other color) background on some text. Drawing contains some reference numbers to others drawings that may change and would like to be able to spot them more readily by scanning for color. Do not want to mask, just a different color. Thought this would be in mtext drop down but don't see it. Appreciate the help.
Right click while editing the mtext or if using ribbon it will show in contextual tab.
Not sure if there's a way to do it without using a background mask. If you had these entries on there own layer, you could use transparency, or maybe just highlight and send to back.
The only problem with this workaround is the text gets lighter too. It would be nice if there was a way to control the transparency of the mask seperate from the text. Maybe someone here has an idea how to do that.
