Thank for reply Jay. See attached screen shot, it is a print preview , can't understand nothing and print out also is same as preview.
Hi,
Which Plot device do you use?
Looks like it is raster output with low resolution.
Maxim
Could you provide screen shot of Page Setup you are using + screenshot of Custom printer settings (if you made them)?
Maxim
What is strange on your Page Setup screen shot - in Plotter field (just under Name drop-down):
I see "NULL - Windows System Driver - by Autodesk"
Usually there should be the name of your Windows System Driver, in your case there should be something like this:
"HP COLOR LASER JET 5550n - Windows System Driver - by Autodesk"
Please ensure, that all parameters of your network printer "HP COLOR LASER JET 5550n" available to AutoCAD.
Try to create PC3 file for your printer (just open "Properties" near "Name", make some changes in "Custom properties" of your printer and save when you will be prompted to .PC3 file.

hi maxim
Thank you for your help. I have crreate pc3 file but unfortunately i still have the same problem. See attached sreen shot. I don't think it is the printer , may be it is something to do with autocad software. But i have installed autocad 2013, same problem.
Hi,
what visual style have you made active for that viewport?
does that happen for other plotter-drivers too? What happens if you plot using "DWG to PDF.pc3"?
Does that happen only for that layout, only for that drawing or for all drawings (also new ones based on original AutoCAD templates)?

Hi
See attached visual style manager for drawing.
I have the same problem if I use other printer , same for dwg to PDF.pc3
If i open a new autocad template and paste drawing , i get the same problem. But it happens with onle few of my drawings not all of them.
Hi,
sorry, I liked to know what visual style you hae assigned to that viewport, the list of styles does not help in this case.
>> But it happens with onle few of my drawings
Can you upload one of them? As long as this issue is reproducable you can erase some of the geometry to make the drawing smaller.

I get it.
The problem is in Visual style assigned to viewport in Layout.
It is "Shades of Gray", if you change it to 2D wireframe - you will get right output.
When you assign to viewport Visual style other then 2D Wireframe, AutoCAD converts entire viewport to raster image with DPI set according to 3D viewport settings in Page setup, by default it is about 150 DPI (or even less), then you get low resolution image on output.
