SSM Imports Sheets In Reverse Order

AutoCAD 2015 SP1.  Anyone else seeing the SSM import sheets in reverse order?

Due to the new layout tab placement we can no longer drag/drop layouts into the SSM. The only choice is to use the Import Layout As Sheet right click option. Using that option imports the sheets in reverse order. See the attached image.

Top portion clearly shows the layouts in the order I expect them to be imported. The bottom image shows the order after importing. They should match. They don’t. Please fix.

Hi Jason,

Are you able to attach the drawing and dst file? I can't seem to reproduce this. The order of the list in the Import Layouts dialog does look at the order the layouts were created, but I keep getting the order as displayed in the dialog. What happens if you click the Layout Name header and toggle it back and forth?

Thanks 🙂

Hi Christina,

I thought the initial order displayed in the import layouts dialog was likely based on tab creation.  I can sort them via the name header, but the actual imported order is always backwards from what is displayed.  FWIW, I'm creating multiple layouts before importing by copying one existing layout via the -layout command's copy option and accepting the defaults.

Command: -LAYOUT

Enter layout option [Copy/Delete/New/Template/Rename/SAveas/Set/?] <set>: c

Enter name of layout to copy <Layout1>:

Enter layout name for copy <Layout1 (2)>:
Layout "Layout1" copied to "Layout1 (2)".

Maybe the process of creating the layouts is causing the issue? /guessing.

I'll try and put together a sample file in the near future.

You have to 2-click the column heading so it shows reverse order in the dialog.  It will then bring them in correct order.  Probably a bad for-next loop or similar in the programming code.

I can't believe I've been dealing with this issue all these years and the solution was so simple!  Thank you for this! Clicking the header twice to reverse the order in the dialogue worked perfectly for importing sheets in the correct order.
