Rubberbanding not showing

AutoCAD 2015 - When drawing a line in the predefined "Front" view, I don't see the rubberbanding from the 1st point to the second. I only see it when in the "Top" view...It doesn't work on any of the other predefined views. ...Something new in 2015 ? Am I missing something obvious?

To follow up...It seems like osnapz is always on. (The rubberbanding was taking place off screen) Setting it to 0 or 1 makes no difference.

Never mind...it's the "problem drawing on named UCS" that is discussed in another post. Autodesk is aware of the problem and is looking into it.
