Ribbon jumps / gets deeper in text edit mode - 2015

Hi

Does anyone know why our ribbon jumps down (gets larger when in edit text mode? i attached an image if that helps

it happens on 2 of our machines in our office, which happen to be identical machines. could it be a graphics card issue?

Hello Guy,

I don't think this should be a graphics card problem. Something on the text ribbon isn't fitting properly and bumping it down. If you look at the entire ribbon and compare it to a correct one, you should be able to see where the spacing or text size differs. It might be possible to edit this in the CUI editor.

Check the text size setting in Windows. That could be affecting it. Type "display" in the search field of the start menu. Make sure the setting is on "Smaller - 100% (default)".

Resetting AutoCAD MEP 2015 to defaults will probably fix it. If you have identical settings, workspace, etc. (or close enough) with a working copy of AutoCAD, you could export settings from it and them import into the problematic computer.
