Ribbon disappeared

My ribbon disappeared when I clicked "dock" on the Tool Bar. Can someone tell me how I can get it back?

If you clicked "undock" the Ribbon will turn into a floating palette. Click on the titlebar again, check "allow docking" then drag it back to an edge.  If it's actually "gone", try typing RIBBON at the command line and/or switch to another workspace, then switch back (assuming you haven't also changed the variable for automatic workspace saving)

My ribbon now looks like this, but how do I get the tools to appear the way they do under the home tab without having to click the menu item? Thank you for your help Smiley LOL

see that little gray sqaure with an arrow in it to the FAR right side . . . click that and it toggles you through the different views of your Ribbon.

Also, it looks like you've loaded the Ribbon tabs multiple times based on all the duplicate tabs.  This may correct itself when you shut down and restart AutoCAD.  If it doesn't fix itself the next time you start AutoCAD, we'll help you get that fixed too. Smiley Happy

Well, it's back where it should be, but about 6 sizes too large? Is there a way to get it back to its normal size?Smiley Frustrated

Well, that's one I haven't seen before.  My suggestion is:

Start > All Programs > Autodesk > AutoCAD2014 > Reset Settings to Default

And maybe just a computer reboot will put all right.

+1 on the multiple Ribbons being loaded. Not seen that before either.

Maybe something more is hosed up in the CUI?

This solution might be moot now, but as I read thru this I wondered what would have happened with selecting Drafting & Annotation in the Workspace Switching dialog.  Unless one of these odd layouts had been saved over it that might have reset the ribbon too.

HI @iri_901,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I am unsure if you mean the Ribbon or Quick Access toolbar.

For the latter take a look at this article that describes how to use the QAT.

For the Ribbon, please look at this article.

If you still aren't having luck with these try a Reset Settings to Default.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
