Program to convert 2012 back to 2002LT

I have a very old autoCAD system and was asked to help with a project. I can upgrade after a project or two! but in the meantime I need to convert a 2012 file back to 2002LT. Is there a conversion program that can do this for me or do I have to have someone with 2012 do it for me?

Trueview from Autodesk, it's free and it can do that.

I'm curious as to what round tripping 2010 format files to 2000 format files will do in the long run.
