Problem with shadow around image

I have attached an image in Autocad and I have finished my work on it. I am now trying to plot to pdf and although I have imageframe 0 and I have checked that there is not an image frame (from scanning) left on the picture by using paint to clean it up, I still get something like a shadow around the image when I plot to pdf. Anyone knows what that is?

To put it better it is like a gentle shadow that is erased at some points. I am very confused

are you referring to the dashed line at top and right?

if so, try running imageclip, and cut down the area the image uses

In that case, please do an eTransmit and zip up the drawing & image and then post the zip file here.  Delete extraneous material in the dwg beforehand so all that's there is what shows the problem.
