Hello
I am looking for a library of plants, trees, etc... for AutoCAD. Any version.
A simple library of plants and trees will do. Preferably free.
If they are colorized that will be great. If they are 3D that is ok also.
Please advise
Thanks
Jeff

Unfortunately AutoDesk Seek is fairly useless in this regard: http://seek.autodesk.com/search/tree?source=SearchBox&locale=en-us&globaldd=globaldropdown.option.d
There are some 3D trees up on Seek too, just change the filtering type to show more items.
I'd try Google instead. I found this site after a few clicks: http://www.ceco.net/free-autocad-blocks/landscaping/trees-plants.html
Although, be careful using free blocks from online sources. Some blocks may have been made with 'Educational Versions' of AutoDesk Products.
Using these blocks can lead to 'Educational Version' Plot stamps appearing on your drawings, if you are using AutoCad prior to 2015 releases.
To rid such blocks of the EDU stamp, save the block as .DXF and then reopen and save back to DWG again.
Not saying it happens a lot, but it has happened to me once or twice over the years.

Another source:
http://www.cadforum.cz/catalog_en/?cat=64
And another, which in its Categories list has both Landscaping [though a quick look reveals that seems to be non-plant elements, but it may contain trees and such, too] and Plants & Foliage:
If you download SketchUp Make: http://www.sketchup.com/products/sketchup-make
You have have free access to the big library of 3D stuff here too:
https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search.html?backendClass=entity&q=trees
From SketchUp Make (Completely free and safe. Not a trial version) you can export those models on that site to .dwg or .dxf in 3D to AutoCad.
Could be a bit harder to keep the textures intact during the conversion process from .skp to .dwg etc... but might be possible if you need it later.
VRML still around?
Good luck 🙂
