Hi All,

Last week our design office upgraded all our PC's and got the latest 2013 autocad, for me that was a jump from 2004 up to 2013 which was quite a change, haven't really got looking at my new autocad too much was trying to find the various commands I would use day to day and one is the mass properties which is found under tools-inquiry. With this new autocad tabs where can this be found? I don't want to be going to tools inquiries all the time or having to remember to type in mass prop everytime i need to use it.

Type 'mas', it's 62.5% more efficient to type. :catwink:

Yess I'm aware of the option of been able to tpye mass, that's what I'm currently doing, but I find when working with a mouse its quicker to click the button for mass properties than to type mass prop, it might take me a few seconds to remember what I need to type.:smileysurprised:

Create a personal workspace and customize your Ribbon and/or toolbars to suit your/your company's workflow.  You can also add it to the right-click context menu and/or drag the tools onto a palette.  Read up on workspaces and the CUIx editor - its worth your time.  I'd also recommend wandering over to AUGI and tracking down the primer on CUIx set-up by RobertB.  It will open up a whole world of UI options and save you a few headaches along the way.

Actually I wanted to add it to the quick access toolbar at the top so I was looking for the icon so I could click add to quick access

If its not in the command tools defined in the OOTB CUIx file(s), you could always make your own, which could then be added to the QAT, Ribbon, and other UI elements.
