Lost Palette in Move From 2 Monitors to 1 Monitor

Hi All,

When my laptop is docked, i have 2 monitors and i put dialog boxes and some palettes on the second monitor. When un-docked, i'm usually on a projector or the laptop's single monitor so the dialog boxes often open out of view. I can move an "active" dialog box back by using the Alt+Spacebar combo and then press the "M" key to move it using the arrow keys. However, palettes are not really "active" so this does not work.

Any suggestions on how to get a lost palette back onto the working monitor?

TIA,

Sal

Try making a second workspace config with the palettes on the primary monitor?

Hi,

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, the target of my question is not a standard palette but rather is the Design Center palette. This particular palette's location is without regard to the workspace so where ever it was last is where it pops up next, regardless of the workspace.

A bit of a nuisiance, but you can go into the CUI, select the workspace, select Design Center from the Workspace Contents>Palettes in the top right panel, then change it's "Orientation" in the lower right panel (ie change from "Floating" or Left or Right)
