Lost 3D Geometry

I am having trouble with some of my 3D geometry going missing after I have saved the drawing.  Running AutoCAD 2013, Saving file Format 2010.  I draw a room.  I have walls, chairs, desks, a floor, ect.  I save the drawing.  When going to re-open the file I can see all of my geometry in the file preview, but when opening the DWG the floor is missing.  All Layers are on and thawed.  When running a purge command it indicates that something is on the layer, but I can't see it or select it.  Changing visual styles also has no effect.  Are there any thoughts as to what is happening, how I can fix it, and how to avoid it in the future.  I have used CAD in 3D since CAD 2000 and have never had this issue.  Any input is appriciated.  Thank you.

Did you try an 'AUDIT'..?

Hardware acceleration / viewport degradation settings?

Graphic card drivers / type?

System information: Win7 x64 / 3DSMax Design 2015 / AutoCad 2015 / Xeon E31225 quadcore @3.10Ghz / nVidia GTX760 2GB (337.88 Driver) / 24Gb Ram / Corsair 650w

Maybe try 3DCLIP and turn front and back clipping off?  Right two icons in that window after starting 3DCLIP.

ran an Audit, no objects were deleted.

ATI FirePro v4800 video card  This is a relativly low detail drawing so I don't think we are having card issues.  Also I have run it on 3 seperate machines of different set  ups and had the same results.

No cameras of clippings have been created, So this is not an issue.

We could guess all day or you could post the drawing or a small portion with the problem layer and it might get solved quickly.

You should be aware that this preview is a bitmap snapshot created automatically at some point and is not indicative of the actual geometry within the file.  In other words - it is a picture, not geometry.

Attach your file here.
I have had success recovering "lost" geometry like this using other CAD programs (but I haven't seen this problem in AutoCAD since v2010).  Edit - I see you saved to v2010.  Well you might be in luck if you attach the file here.

This is what I see in the file (in another CAD program).

Is there geometry in this image that is missing when you open in AutoCAD?

Edit: Never mind - just checked the Preview on the AutoCAD file.  I will try to dig a bit deeper and see if I can recover anything.
