Leader Layer issue

Using Autocad MEP 2013. Created leaders for pipe labels on specific layers. Saved file and when I opened again all the text inside the leaders looks and acts like its on the same layer but if I turn the pipe layer off, all the text (Not the leaders) turns off also? This happens in model space.

Ideas? Help please.

Hi,

as you are using MEP you should ask in the >>>forum for MEP<<<.

AutoCAD itself has no object-type "pipe" and so the labeling for that might be MEP-functionality.
