Is there a way to go back to Normal Text

The text gets skewed when some parts of the drawing get moved in Z direction.
I have looked everywhere for years for a solution to this... commands such as move everything to elveation 0...

nothing works. Once the text goes bazrck it never can be fixed.

OR Can it be fixed?

Thank you! Untitled1111111111.png

Hello from France

Not sure to well understand your problem !

Please could you give us an extract of your DWG (with Wblock) with red circles where there are problems !

and with DWG saved in a 3D view (or a 2D view if you have problem even in 2D Top view) ... so we can see the problem !?

Bye, Pat

This may not help but AutoCAD does have a bug where Arial text (or any TrueType font) inside a block will take on a bold appearance if the block is rotated. So if you have both regular text and attributes in the block then the text part looks distorted or bolded.

For that bug the only solution is to use a font like RomanS.shx or to use PRESET attributes in the block in place of regular text or to explode the block.

I would test to see if this happens with ROMANS.SHX.

Yeah... Can't use Romans or that kind of font.

Just checking because this has been happening since the 2000 release...

the only way it goes away is if I copy the drawing and paste it into a fresh sheet.

but that is a painful way of fixing things...

Hello

YES if you insert the bad DWG in a blank DWG : no problem !

So the method of moving in the z direction is somehow altering the display to a perspective view?
