Installation

Hi

I am having trouble installing Autocad 2014 even though the system requirements all seem to be fine and I have tried switching off my antivirus security programme firewall.  I can get it to download the software but just as it says the software is downloaded 100% and before I can install it, it says it is running a security scan .

At this stage it comes up with a message saying connection interrupted as a result of 3 possible issues.

1) Installation package moved from installation location which is not supported.

2) Autodesk download website was closed or manually refreshed before the installation was lauched.

3) A firewall has blocked the network ports.

Can anyone help ?  What am I missing here?

Many thanks

Ginny

Hello

Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD Forums !

A few questions

- Which Windows exactly ? Win XP Pro , Win Seven , Win 8.0 , Win 8.1 ?

- Have you downloaded the entire file before trying to install ?

- Version 32 or 64 bits ?

Have you retry to download the entire file ? (to compare the size of the files) ?

Windows 7 32-bit version is very very rare OS, on old old computer, typically installed by YOU on very old computer.  Are you sure you are running 32-bit OS?

Go to Start and right click on Computer and select Properties.

Post screen shot of you OS properties here.

I'm betting that it will report that your OS is actually 64-bit, not 32-bit.
