Importing .bmp image to AutocadLT and attaching to drawing

I am having a problem attaching an imported .bpm image to an AutocadLT drawing. It only seems to reference the original .bmp which is useless when I send drawing to someone else. What am I doing wrong?

You can always ETRANSMIT your dwg to the recipient,  that way all of the associated files go along with the dwg.

I found the Etransmit doc, not quite what I needed......

Ended up saving drawing as  a .pdf and sending out. Worked out OK in the end.

I do appreciate the help, I've got a lot yet to learn!
