Importing Layers Autocad Mac

In autocad for windows i can import layers from one drawing to another using CTRL2 (control2). How can in autocad for Mac? So i don´t have to do the same layers every time i open a new drawings...

And what is the "layer state"? THANK YOU

If you always use same layer settings for new drawings, you can set up all these layer settings in your default template file.
