Hows to turn out the noise when you select something on a dialog?

Can you advise on how to turn the loud bang when you click a buttom in a dialog like the Layer State and the noise comes...(V 2015)

Thanks.

In Windows, try going to Control Panel → Sound → "Sounds" tab → setting Sound Scheme to "No Sounds" and hit "OK" and see if that resolves the problem for you.  It sounds like someone is playing a prank on you.  As far as I know, AutoCAD 2015 does not have any sounds in the program itself.

Sounds will be the next fantastic feature in AutoCAD! And there will be a dozen system variables to control (or not) how and when they work. I can't wait!

And you know it will be the next big feature because no one asked for it!  System variables?  No way!  It will be set up so you won't be able to turn the sounds off!  Smiley LOL

I stand corrected.  I had completely forgotten about that option.

I'm trying to turn off the noises it makes even when there isn't an error 😕

Hi,

That is not an option in AutoCAD, this has to be set within your sound control.

Right-click onto the sound-symbol on the right side of the Windows task bar to get the sound mixing control shown (hope that is understandable as this is my translation from Gerrman) ... and there you can control the volume for the system sound.

Not really.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Rub it in, even CAD can shut the sound off... but no not REVIT!

it only works for some of the complaining Revit does. the only way I have found to shut down all the noise it makes is through the PC's system sounds.

Why are you complaining about Revit in the AutoCAD forum?

What does it matter? He's replying to someone else in a conversation, not you.

Brilliant!

You might want to look at what you wrote and think about who I was responding to you.

Hint:

It wasn't you.
