Helical Surface Creation

I am attempting to create a helical surface around a pipe to model a screw pile.

How do I join two concentric helices in order to eventually create a plate?

Using AutoCAD 2013, image of helices I'm attempting to join in order to create surface then solid is attached.

I don't think you need both curves, simply Sweep a line along one of them and then Thicken.

I guess you could create a line at both ends and use Loft if you need both curves for some reason.

Attach your dwg file here if you can't figure it out.

Youth. In my experience, younger users don't work with hotkeys as much. Nor do they know, or care to know, the keyboard input when there is an easily identifiable button to click on. It's the change of the ages, same as cursive handwriting is on the way out or already gone.

Thanks, you were right I didn't need both curves.

Haha no I don't need all those toolbars, it was just how the program loaded on the pc I was using. I tend to learn the hotkeys because well what the hell symbol is PEDIT under?
