Ok so I download Dependency Walker. I see MSVCR100.dll is in red so do I delete that from the files to listed above and then try to reinstall AutoCAD 2014. These are the names files that listed as error
When I search the path it led to the MSVCR100.dll.
here's you gotta do follow the steps correctly ok?. .
1.delete " MSVCR100.dll " both in this dir:
" C:\Windows\System32 " & " C:\Windows\SysWOW64
btw are you using 64 bit?. . [if yes do this]
2. Go to Control Panel> Programs and features:
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010(x86)
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010(x64)
3. Uninstall all autodesk software Follow this to uninstall completely:
4. Download CCleaner
run Registry fix and Cleaner.
5. reboot PC
6. try fresh install again, and hope for the best.
We had the same problem and I solved it by this method.
PLEASE FOLLOW IT THOROUGHLY.
Don't miss even one instruction. especially on uninstalling it completely
so that your time would not be of waste, and GOOD LUCK too
you might need it. .
I'm having the same problem, I have installed AutoCAD 2014 and when I run it there's an error.
I've read the solutions and I'll try them, I just would like to know if the files I'm going to delete and uninstall (Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010(x86), Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010(x64) and MSVCR100.dll) are important for my PC and if deleting them is going to affect its performance in any way?
MSVCR100.dll and redistributable 2010 are important in many ways in the PC
but you need to follow my instructions thoroughly and avoid unnecessary mistake.
you need to reinstall it, but first delete the thing that I mention for a clean re-install. .
Thanks for the reply, but after all the only thing I had to do to make AutoCAD work was install some updates from Windows and it worked perfectly
>> i just upgraded win8 pro to win8.1pro, but cannot run autocad 2014, 3d max 2014 or revit 2013.
Have these products worked before you updatet to 8.1?
