File Save Errors and Visual Problems

To all,

We recently started to add / update our AutoCAD BIM files to the 2014 Format and have found not only are we getting problems with "Visual" errors, but also FILE SAVE ERRORS. We have even tried leaving the updated file in the AutoCAD 2013 / 2014 format and yet the program failed to work.

I don't want to fall behind on creating usable AutoCAD Files for our BIM project(s) however if the new version of AutoCAD2014 becomes a hassle we may have to go back a version or two. I normally will go back a version or two for my customers as a consultant however, in my fulltime capacity (at Siemens) we are trying to stay on top of things here so this doesn't look good when we convinced the upper management to move us to the most current version and we still are running into problems.

Any Help or advice would be appreciated, and as usual thanks in advance.

One other thing... this seem to work (creating 3D AutoCAD BIM Files) with earlier versions of AutoCAD.

Thanks but ths is not a network problem.

I'm saving files directly to my hard drive, not to a network and not to the cloud.
