Is there any way to set the meshing quality when you export solids through the FBX export option from Autocad?
I exported some solids and imported in another program (modo) and the imported mesh was quite low quality. For example 20 facets on a cylinder.
I would like to be able to control the amount of facets. Is there any variable that can be set to up the FBX mesh resolution.
When I export DXF files from autocad (non solids) into my favourite 3D conversion program "Accutrans3d" I can actually set the amount of facets in circles and arcs. I can set a universal amount for all circles and arcs and also set individual arcs in 45 degree increments or set a spread between 0 and 360 degrees by using a number for the 360 degree value. Years ago when I had used rhino it had a slider that would condtrol mesh density. I have attached a screengrab of the FBX file imported into modo.
Can anyone help me out?
