Editing a Block With Attributes

I was excited to learn how to revise blocks within a drawing, and have used it frequently. I cannot, however, figure out how to edit a block that has attributes.  I don't want to edit the attributes, themselves, but the physical parts. (For example, it was created on the wrong layer and I want to correct that.)  I can't find anything in HELP that explains this.  Can someone please help?

Hi if you type BEDIT you can go into the block editor (you may have to choose the block form the list of blocks in the drawing) make your changes & then save & exit. You can also click on the block you want to edit then right click & choose

" block editor"

I know you say you do not want to make changes to the attributes but if you do once you have saved & exited block editor type ATTSYNC  & that should refresh your attributes to reflect your changes.
