ECW autmatic to the back (and staying there!)

In Autocad Map 3D 2013, I  can load a ECW (39GB !!)

only when I load it, it is always above the lines and reference files.

is there a option to load thsi at the back and then it wil stay at the back?

When use undo, or load antother reference, the ECW wil be back on top Man Sad

If the reference is a shape, with scaled text, the ecw will always stay ont top, even when you send it to the back?

AE.

You will get better answeres in the Map3d forum,  but the first question is oing to be 'how are you loading the ecw?"  As FDO or?

I am loading it as a layer, that contains the ECW link.

but when I load as image attatch, it does the same.

When you connect a second layer (shape-file) the ECW will be above everything!

In Arcgis, an ECW is always underneath all other lines, shapes etc.  Thats what I want to in autocad.

With Map3D and loading the image as an FDO layer you use the display manager of Map's task pane to set the draw order.

Put the ECW (Raster layers) below the MapBase and regen the map (right click in the palette and select UPDATE.

Because if you have large sets of data and are trying to set the draw order it's easier to do it all at once after you set the order than waiting for a regen/redraw/update after you move each layer one by one.

I'ss strongly advice NOT following that link, unless you like malware etc.  Looks like the spammers have gotten a bit more subtle,
