Data Extraction

I am trying to set up a data extraction table to be used to extract information from a certain block in a drawing.

I am having trouble setting up a formula. my problem being that the formula works when I do not include the data from the column (H.R.F.) but if I include it it eveluates the formula as ####.

I have set the format for the column to be decimal, as with all other columns used in the formula.

I have attached a drawing that contains the table how it should look (using fields rather than data extraction)

and the best I have been able to get using data extraction.

also attached is the .DXE file.

On a side note if there is a better way to set up the block with the functionalites that are currently there (I would be happy for some advice).

Example would be is there a better way to add information to the block (that can be extracted) but has no effect on the aperance of the block.

that is why there are the parameters (TYPE, H.R.F., Brace Direction and Level)

(NOTE: the extraction test.pdf is the .dxe file, should be able to rename it to .dxe and should work fine)

I believe you will need to edit the extraction file, so that it referenced the drawing again.

had to change the .dxe from .pdf to .dwg so it can be downloaded.

Hi,

I have managed to solve the problem.

It was due to the H.R.F. variable having a title with '.' in it.

I removed the '.' and just modified the column title to include the '.'.

Thanks to anyone that spent time trying to figure it out.
