DWG to STEP

So I saw a few posts on converting DWG to STEP files - I downloaded a trial of Inventor LT, but it seems the option is grayed out.  I'm not sure if its the design, or just a limit of the evaluation.

Can anyone convert it :)?

You have posted in the AutoCAD forum, not the Inventor forum?

Some of the geometry is poorly modeled and should be recreated.

my bad - can a mod put this in the Inventor LT forum?  I'm horrible with CAD, so I have no idea what I'm doing - a guy drew a mock up of the bezel for me as a prototype
