DWG filesize issue in empty drawing

Hi All,

I have a drawing that has a filesize of 10meg even when there are no entities in the drawing.

There are about 1000 lietypes in the drawing but it wont let me purge them out.
These are what are most likely causing the bloat.

Some things I have tried without success...

Erase all then purge 3x and audit then purge 3x then audit. Qselect shows no entities in drawing.

Save back to acad 2007 and repeat above

Anyone have any ideas???

Marty...

Also to add, if I cut and paste or wblock anything from this drawing into another blank new drawing, the bloat problem transfers over as well as all the un-purgable linetypes

Did that DWG start life as a MicroStation file?

If the answer is YES try this.

Regards,

DJ
