Has there been any outcome to why my tool palettes take for ever to load on first use?

My work around it to switch profiles back and fourth....

Where are the source files located? Your connection to that location?
OS?
AutoCAD version and variant?

Hi Dean,

They are located locally on my c drive. (I have it on my dropbox) c:\dropbox.This location should not slow it My work around is to copy a profile and switch between both on startup.

Apprerciate any help on the matter.

Your dropbox folder is tied to your dropbox online account folder: as a test, turn off AutoCAD, unplug from the internet/network, turn off the dropbox background app, restart AutoCAD and see if your TPs are still slow or not.

We had a similar issue with 2011, custom palettes, located on C: drive, folder not tied to any network routines, switching was fast after first load of each tab.
