Blue hatches in the Layer Manager V2015

Regarding the blue hatches that appear on the Layer Properties Manager V2015 over some of the Layer's names, what are these and how are these turned off?

Thanks in advance.

The blue backgound indicates the layer has a viewport override applied. They can be removed by selecting the layer(s) and right-clicking > Remove VP Override

Or if you do not want to remove the viewport overrides, but only want to remove the blue shading, you could set the shading color = to the color of the background of the layer manager.

Look for the gear icon inside of the layer manager to access this.

Thanks for the information.

I personally find that "strong" blue color a little visually distracting and offensive, and I tried to work with the "transparency" of the Layers Manager to no avail.

Is there a way to make that "strong' informative blue (but visually intrusive) a little less strong?

Thanks, rkmcswain.

I answered to Nestly2 before I saw your post, and when I then saw yours, I looked for the gear  icon and changed it to a lighter blue 200,228,244 which seems more pleasant to the eyes.

Again, thanks to You and to Nestrly2 for the responses.
