AutoCad 2014 why does it freeze when using hatch

AutoCad freezes when I have hatched something and then go to zoom in a part of the drawing. Iam running windos 7  64bit machine.

The post title says "when using hatch", but the body of your post says "when I have hatched something, and then...."

So the problem only occurs immediately after hatching something and then zooming in?

You are correct. It freezes after hatching but not necessarily immediately
after

Hi Simon,

Does this happens with all files?  even with a new one with just few entities?

If it''s with a specific file, please can you share it?  and specify more precise steps to reproduce it?

Thanks

No,

It seems to do it whenever there is hatching. I can send you a drawing if
that would help.

Hi,

within the thread there are a lot of suggestions, can you try them and let us know what you tried and what are the answers to the suggestions?
Otherwise we have to start from the beginning again... 😉

In any case: the drawing with a marker what you try to hatch may be a big help for us to help you.
