AutoCAD displays model not correctly

Hi there,

for some reason, AC has some issues drawing a wireframe image from my 3D model (created in Inventor). The conceptual image just looks perfekt, however the 2D Wireframe and Wireframe view have missing and incomplete lines. You can find an example attached.

What could be the problem? The same issue occurs also in the layout space.

I would really appreciate your help,

Max

Hard to tell from the context presented.  It may simply be the object "wires" are not in full silhouette for that view (they don't automatigically rotate to accomodate the direction of viewing), which would be more apparent from an isometric view direction.

Try the DISPSILH system variable, also found as a check-box under Display in the Options dialog.

Actually, this occurs also when I rotate the model in 3D view, using 2D Wireframe mode. I had this issue before, the thing is that I don't know how I resolved it before...

Using viewbase, the line gets drawn perfectly fine. But why not otherwise?

Any other ideas?

Have you tried setting ISOLINES to a higher setting?

Thank you, that helped. I've set the ISOLINES settings from 8 to 16 and now my model is displayed properly. 😉

Thank you!
