AutoCAD 2014 LT freezes

Help needed!

Our AutoCAD LT '14 Test Version is running smoothly on our system (3,4GHz / 8GB RAM / 1GB Graphics), but freezes randomly after doing several actions, like moving objects or creating multiple objects quickly (2D).

In the picture, the program crashed after moving the object a few times. It is impossible to work on like this. We need some help. It doesn't close on its own and doesn't continue after a few minutes.

System: Win7 64

All the LT workstation problems are fixed. No more looking for AEC ObjectARXs outside the box.

Turns out it was an IT problem on our end. It stemmed from migration of our user accounts from one office to another.

After deleting the users account and making a fresh one, everything is fixed.

The IT technician who just fixed it takes full repsonsibility for the errors and would like me to say that he profusely apologises to AD for ever doubting the superiority of their coding. Smiley Embarassed

I'm not sure IT should be that humble Smiley Very Happy

Glad you found a solution.

Short information:

The problem seems gone now. Solution: Of course it was not installed as administrator. We changed it via right click > properties > execute as administrator for all users.

Since then, we did not have any issues with lags or crashes for several minutes. So thanks for your help so far!

You should be able to open the program under the Administrator the first time and then upon reboot be able to use the limited account logins to run the program normally.

Have you tried this yet to see if it then opens normally for the individual users account?
