Doea anyone at Autodesk ever pay any attention to the Mechanical errors submissions after a fatal errors ?
They actually do. So, make sure you put in the submission exactly what you were doing when it fatal errored out.
Paying attention doesn't mean that they can fix it immediately though.... So do give them all the info you can in the CER. If it's a reliably reproducible problem they can do a better job of dealing with it and getting a fix.
Be sure that you export you profile to another location so after the Fatal Error you can restore all your settings without having to manually reset everything. When Autodesk fixes something YOU told them about, they put the fix into a new release and charge you $6K to see the fix YOU reported. Pretty cool, isn't it?
