AutoCAD 2013 Constantly Crashing

Hi all, whenever I launch AutoCAD 2013 Student Editition, it will instantly close after the startup has finished, so I am unable to register it with the serial code and such. I searched online for an answer, tried everything but nothing worked...

I'm running Windows 8.1.

How can I fix it? Thanks

AutoCAD 2013 does not support Windows 8.1.

I'm not saying it won't work, but this could have something to do with your issue. Is this a new development? In other words, was it ever working on this machine/OS?

Do you have a specific reason for using 2013? If not, consider downloading and installing 2015 which does support Win8

Change hardware acceleration settings in AutoCAd and see if that helps.
Then try upgrading (or downgrading) the video card drivers in Win8.1.

Good luck: 2013 versions of AutoCASd are not supported in Win8 as noted above.

When I was using Windoes 8, AutoCAD was running perfectly fine. Hmm, if I am unable to fix the issue I will upgrade to 2015.

Thanks for the reply!

The process to create Win8.1 from inside Win8 is the problem for most AutoCAD users. Win8, though short-lived, seemd to be trouble-free with AutoCAD versions old and current.
